Does anyone remember the staffbots? They were named staff420690 or staff867530, they were everywhere for about 2 days, and then they all disappeared. Was that 2022 or 2021? I honestly don’t remember.
My point is, those old bots came and went pretty quickly, but the new generation of spambots are spreading like wildfire and there’s no relief on sight! People say that the current pornbots have names like jennifer300 or sarah2525 but no, the names the bots choose sound more like bad localizations of American athletes on the NES
They all look KINDA like real names, but just slightly wrong, senina, lebecca, jostice, ermily, vaguely name-like strings of letters.
I went back through my block list to look for specific examples, but they’ve all changed their names to random gibberish, prrsumably after having been flagged and blocked so many times.
Yesterday, this was full of names like mernany and shelsa and brichenne, but now they’re all just keysmashes.
I continue to scream my love for puffins out into the world, they are the best!!
